Work: basement additions
Corcoran Street Living Room

Capitol Hill Kitchen, Potomac Avenue
The original kitchen in this row house was in need of an update, and it was visually separated from the living spaces by a narrow doorway and a mechanical closet. The mechanical systems were relocated and made more compact. The kitchen was renovated in place, and the small doorway was opened up to create an arched opening over a large peninsula. The dropped ceiling was removed and the ceiling is now vaulted with skylights.  Photographs by Corbin Mullinix
