Euclid Street
The clients wanted to take advantage of the spectacular views from the roof of their Columbia Heights row house. They also wanted to create a generous space for outdoor entertaining. As the rear yard was occupied by parking, the best solution was to go up to create a two level roof deck. The deck is constructed with recycled lumber decking and railings, along with cable rail. A large trellis offers shade and privacy. Benches along the perimeter provide ample seating, as well as storage. Photos by Frans van der Lee.
